1) What types of alerts can I create in Master Metrics?
You can create three types of alerts:
Budget Control: to check if you are spending more or less than expected based on your monthly pace.
Goal Control: to see if you are meeting your performance goals (e.g., impressions, conversions, sales, etc.).
Customizable Alerts: to define your own conditions and custom metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.) with comparisons between periods.
Ad Delivery / Suspended Advertising Account: to receive a notification every time your advertising account or campaign stops delivering ads.
2) How often are alerts reviewed?
Alerts are processed automatically every day at 9:00 AM (GMT-3 / Argentina time). They will evaluate whether the configured conditions are met based on the data updated up to that point.
3) Can I filter alerts by specific campaigns?
Yes. You can filter by campaigns, ad groups, or even individual ads when setting up the alert. This allows you to control it much more precisely.
4) What notification channels are available?
You can receive alerts automatically via:
Email (one or more email addresses)
WhatsApp (one or more phone numbers)
Tasks in ClickUp, Asana, or Monday
Integration with over 5,000 apps using Zapier (Slack, Trello, etc.)
5) What does “above or below expected alert” mean?
The system compares the current value of a metric (such as spending or conversions) against what is expected based on the day of the month and the total target.
For example, if 15 days of the month have passed and you have only spent 30% of your budget, you can set it to trigger an alert for being well below the expected pace.
6) Can I customize the message I receive when an alert is triggered?
Yes. When setting up an alert, you can write the notification message you prefer, or leave it blank if you use Zapier with Email Parser, where the content is automatically generated in the appropriate format.
7) Which advertising platforms are compatible with alerts?
You can set up alerts for Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify, Tiendanube, GA4, and many more accounts. The selection depends on the data sources connected to your account.
8) What happens if the alert conditions are not met?
If the condition defined in the alert is not met, no notification is triggered. In the alert log, you can check which alerts were evaluated and whether or not they were triggered.
9) Can I see records of triggered alerts?
Yes. In the Alert Logs section, you can see the details of each alert, including the configured condition, the advertising account, the date it was evaluated, and whether or not it was triggered.
10) Do I need to have a paid plan on Zapier to integrate alerts with other apps?
No. You can use Zapier with Email Parser without having a paid plan. This allows you to automate actions based on alerts at no additional cost.
11) How do Google or GA4 goal alerts work if I want a particular conversion event?
It works very similarly to budget control, but instead of controlling spending, you choose a target metric and it alerts you if you are X% below the number of conversions for the target you entered based on the days that have passed.
