1) Can I use calculated metrics within other calculated metrics?

Yes. You can reuse previously calculated metrics as part of new formulas, allowing you to build more complex metrics in a modular way.

2) Can I combine metrics from different data sources in one formula?

Yes. Master Metrics allows you to create formulas using metrics from different data sources, as long as they are correctly connected.

3) What is the difference between applying a filter and creating a formula?

  • Applying a filter means limiting the data of an existing metric to certain values (e.g., country, campaign, device, etc.).

  • Creating a formula means performing mathematical or logical operations combining multiple metrics (e.g., adding investments, calculating ROAS, dividing leads by investment, etc.).

4) Do calculated metrics affect my original data?

No. Calculated metrics do not modify your original data. They only generate new views or calculations based on that data.
